As an engineer Ffxi Gil
As an engineer Ffxi Gil I grew up using mathematical modelling Cheap Diablo 3 Gold as a toolfor good design. That doesn't sound very exciting, does it Surelygreat design is waiting for inspiration and then prototypingthousands of times until it is right Well, I'm afraid not. Whenpeople say: "Oh I never use the maths I learned at school", I'mperplexed -- I used it every day as an engineer, and still do,despite having a dull-sounding management job title. Wheninspiration strikes, yes I do a sketch, but I also do a sum. Mathshas always been part of the design process for innovative consumerproducts. But in the next generation of products maths will be thehidden hero not only of the design process, but also of the productitself.
Of course user experience and technology are still important toinnovation, but they are fast becoming "hygiene factors" --necessary but not sufficient to thrill consumers. These twoelements, design and engineering, will not be able to solve thehard problems facing consumer technology brands looking for theeternal holy grail of the "next big thing".
This is because the next big consumer technology breakthroughwill require complex mathematical solutions rather than justinspired design and applied technology expertise.
